Medical Image Reconstruction

Using a CT scan of a heart, I localized the mitral valve using Slicer and exported the valve as an STL file. I then created a mitral valve sewing ring that is custom fit to this heart’s mitral valve.
Cystoscope Medical Device Design
Throughout the course, I worked on designing a cystoscope: a device used to look inside the bladder through the urethra. The goal was to modernize the cystoscope into a more “appealing” device while considering use-case constraints.
